Baton Rouge — The city’s brightest stars in community leadership were celebrated at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Baton Rouge Alumnae Chapter’s highly anticipated Community Leadership Award ceremony. This unforgettable evening brought together the best and brightest local changemakers who are shaping the future of Baton Rouge through their incredible contributions to economic development and social impact.
The spotlight was on six extraordinary individuals who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the community. Among those honored were Deputy Superintendent Adam Smith, Dauda Sesay, Founder, President, and CEO of the Louisiana Organization for Refugees and Immigrants, Dr. Rani Whitfield, The Honorable John Michael Guidry, Associate Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court, and Brandon Lewis, Artist and Director of The Helis Foundation John Scott Center.
