Biden-Harris Campaign Surges with Energized Weekend of Action
A “Weekend of Action” mobilization blitz with over 1,500 events held across crucial battleground states marked the surge in momentum.

Following a poorly moderated CNN debate, the Democratic base sprang into action, investing a remarkable $14 million into the Biden-Harris campaign. This wave of support ignited an electrifying "Weekend of Action," featuring over 1,500 events across crucial battleground states. Volunteer signups tripled, making it the most successful organizing effort of the campaign cycle so far.

The weekend kicked off with President Joe Biden addressing a vibrant crowd of over 2,000 voters in North Carolina, setting an energetic and optimistic tone. High-profile figures, including Governors Wes Moore and Tim Walz, former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Senator Chris Coons, and DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, joined forces nationwide, amplifying the campaign's efforts.

In Pennsylvania, Senator Coons passionately rallied volunteers in Montgomery County, emphasizing the election's critical importance and the need to defend freedoms from former President Donald Trump's policies. Volunteers tirelessly canvassed Philadelphia, engaging voters in all sixty-six wards.

Michigan was abuzz with enthusiasm as former Governor Jennifer Granholm and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell highlighted Biden’s accomplishments. Granholm proclaimed, "Ninety minutes does not erase three and a half years," spotlighting Biden’s healthcare expansion and contrasting it with Trump’s plan to dismantle the Affordable Care Act.

In Wisconsin, Maryland Governor Wes Moore energized Black voters, while Vice President Kamala Harris inspired supporters in East Las Vegas, Nevada. Harris’s powerful critique of Trump’s stances on Roe v. Wade and tax policies spurred over 2,000 doors to be knocked and numerous events across the state.

Georgia was alive with a variety of activities, from a happy hour in Atlanta with U.S. Representative Maxwell Frost to a viral video of Biden at a Waffle House in Cobb County, significantly boosting volunteer signups even in rural areas.

Arizona and Florida saw dynamic campaign actions, with new campaign offices and community events led by U.S. Representative Gabe Amo and former Labor Secretary Solis. These efforts showcased Biden's unwavering commitment to the environment and economy, sharply contrasting with Trump’s agenda.

"President Biden's investments are making a real difference," declared Frost. "With emissions decreasing, we’re proving that a strong economy and a healthy environment can coexist. Biden is fighting for our future, while Trump promises to drag us backward."

The thrilling weekend reflects a powerful grassroots movement propelling the Biden-Harris campaign toward the 2024 election, building momentum and mobilizing voters nationwide with renewed vigor and confidence.
