District 2 Listening Tour to Engage Community

BATON ROUGE, La. — District 2 Councilman Anthony Kenney is launching a Listening Tour to engage with residents and gather input on community needs, concerns, and solutions. The initiative aims to foster direct dialogue between local leadership and the people of District 2, ensuring that their voices shape future decisions.
The tour includes four listening sessions at key locations throughout the district:
- March 17 – Jewel J. Newman Community Center (6 p.m.)
- March 20 – Foster Road Baptist Church (6 p.m.)
- March 24 – Alsen BREC Recreation Center (6 p.m.)
- March 31 – Baker Branch Library (6 p.m.)
Residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on issues impacting their neighborhoods. The sessions will provide an opportunity for open discussions on community improvements, safety, infrastructure, and other local matters.
