LPB's renowned program, "Louisiana: The State We're In," proudly reaches a significant milestone this week, commemorating 47 years of dedicated coverage of Louisiana's most crucial news stories. Since its debut in 1976, the program has become one of the nation's longest-running television series. Tune in every Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB). Additionally, it airs on LPB's sister station, WLAE-TV32 in New Orleans, on Fridays at 7 PM, and WYES-TV, the PBS station for New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, on Fridays at 7:30 PM. This award-winning show distinguishes itself by offering comprehensive coverage of critical state issues and expert analysis.
