Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Snowden Earns Third Place, All-American Honors at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Caleb Snowden, a standout athlete from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, delivered a stellar performance at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, clinching third place in the high jump on Friday night at Hayward Field.

Snowden's remarkable leap of 2.23 meters (7-3 ¾) earned him First-Team All-American honors.

"I felt good competing against some of the best athletes in the country and holding my own," Snowden said. "Being in this atmosphere and representing my school while the crowd cheered me on was terrific."

Earlier this year, Snowden made history at the NCAA Indoor Championships by becoming the first student-athlete from the program to be named an All-American since the school joined the NCAA.

Additionally, Snowden is the first high jumper from a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) to achieve a top-three position in both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the same year.
