Voter Registration Deadlines Approaching for March 29 Election
The deadline to register in person, by mail, or at an Office of Motor Vehicles location is Wednesday, Feb. 26. Voters can also register online through the GeauxVote system until Saturday, March 8.
BATON ROUGE, La. — Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry is reminding voters of the upcoming registration deadlines for the March 29 municipal primary election.
The deadline to register in person, by mail, or at an Office of Motor Vehicles location is Wednesday, Feb. 26. Voters can also register online through the GeauxVote system until Saturday, March 8. These deadlines apply to new voters as well as those needing to update their registration.
Residents can check their registration status or sign up to vote at www.GeauxVote.com. The GeauxVote mobile app provides additional election resources, including sample ballots, polling place details, and real-time election results.
Early voting for the March 29 election runs from Saturday, March 15, through Saturday, March 22, excluding Sunday, March 16. Polls will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
